About me

Hello, my name is Morgan Allen and I am a rising senior at Durango High School (graduating class of 2019). My passion and commitment as an equestrian athlete began when I started taking lessons at the age of nine. Now, I am training and competing on horses of my own as well as competing on various catch horses. I also just recently purchased a horse that I am competing on under the training of Warren Performance Horses (Devin Warren) at many shows throughout the year.

Interscholastic Equestrian Association (2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons): TRH Reining Club team (Zone 8 finals individual qualifier 2016- placed 3rd horsemanship, 4th reining, 2017 Zone 8 Regional qualifier). Travel and live 8 hours away to be a member of an IEA team. Reserve Individual Champion 2/5/17 show.

4H member since 2008 : Multiple years as Horse champion for both Western and English, Horse judging team (team not offered now), Livestock judging team (past), royalty, officer roles, and other projects.

Train with Warren Performance Horses (Devin Warren): Dedicated and travel 7 hours to train and compete with the barn. I often stay and train as well as assist with other horses.

Won the Gatorade sponsor award at the 2018 OSU Equestrian Camp for strong work ethic and sportsmanship. Selection is done by the coaches. .

Internship and work for trainer Dawn Hoselton for several years helping with client horse training and youth equestrian camps. Multiple years of experience riding horses of different ages and abilities.

Texas A&M veterinarian assistant self-study program with internship hours with local equine veterinarian and local small animal veterinarian hospital

I have been training with Warren Performance Horses since June 2017. I have been competing on my own horse, Whiz of a Hoss, since February, at many AQHA and NRHA shows (see my show schedule for more details). I have also had the opportunity to ride and learn on many other horses in the barn.
